🚀 You're Invited to Our Near Space Balloon Launch! 🎈
Riley High School’s Aerospace Engineering Class is launching a Near Space Balloon, and we’d love for you to join us—either in person or virtually!
📅 Date: Monday, May 19
🕙 Launch Time: Between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM
📍 Location: Jackson Middle School (South Parking Lot by Football Field)
Our students have been working hard on this exciting project and are eager to share it with you! During the flight, we’ll be collecting data on:
📏 Altitude, 🌡️ Temperature, 📉 Barometric Pressure, 💨 Speed
We’ll also be capturing the journey with a GoPro camera—so you can get a glimpse of what it looks like near the edge of space!
You can join us virtually too!
This exciting project is the culmination of our students’ hard work and creativity.
